Women's Alliance Network: Honorable Pamela R. Lampitt
This fall’s Leadership Talk: "Empowering Progress: The Honorable Pamela R. Lampitt's Journey to Advancing Women's Rights in New Jersey and Beyond," leads us to better understand Assemblywoman Lampitt’s journey: gaining insights into the power of advocacy, the significance of legislative action and the pivotal role of leadership in shaping a more equitable world.
Assemblywoman Pamela R. Lampitt (District 6) has played a key role in Equal Pay Legislation, as prime sponsor of the Diane B. Allen Equal Pay Act, which requires employers to provide equal pay to workers who perform substantially similar work.
Her platform and voting record impact and promoting policies that support gender equality, paid family leave, protections against gender-based discrimination, advocacy for women's healthcare rights and strengthening workplace protections for victims of sexual harassment.
In addition to her legislative work, Assemblywoman Lampitt has been an active supporter of women's organizations and initiatives in her community. She has participated in events and activities aimed at empowering women and promoting gender diversity in leadership positions. Her work has helped to advance the rights and opportunities of women in New Jersey and beyond. The Women's Alliance Network is very excited to welcome Assemblywoman Pamela R.
