Please join the Family Medicine Department in welcoming Alissa Hochman, PhD and Isha Desai Suthar, DO.
Alissa Hochman, PhD
Dr. Hochman graduated with her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from University of Massachusetts, Boston Dr. Hochman completed her internship at Temple University in 2019 and Residency at Swarthmore College in 2020. Dr. Hochman has held teaching positions at Muhlenberg College and Haverford College. She is providing Grant support of the SBIRT grant in Family Medicine and clinical patient care through the Rowan-Virtua Family Medicine office in Hammonton.
Isha Desai Suthar, DO
Dr. Isha Suthar is a board certified Family Medicine physician and Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine. She obtained her undergraduate degree at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), completed her medical education at Rowan-SOM, and trained at Crozer Health Family Medicine Residency. Dr. Suthar strives to advocate for her patients and work with them using individualized health plans to best fit their lifestyle. She has a special interest in chronic disease management, women’s health, preventative health care, and working with patients of all ages. She also loves to be involved in medical education and training the future generation of physicians. Dr. Suthar resides in Gloucester county with her husband, daughter and furbaby. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, and being outdoors.
It is an honor to have Dr. Hochman and Dr. Suthar as members of the Family Medicine Department and the greater Rowan-Virtua Medicine team.
