Urgent Need for Blood - Red Cross Blood Drive April 8th

The Office of Volunteerism, Community Engagement & Commuter Services and the American Red Cross will be hosting a blood drive on                              Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 9 am to 3 pm in the Chamberlain Student Center Eynon Ballroom.

To make an appointment, you can sign up online at www.redcrossblood.org sponsor code: rowan or call 1800REDCROSS email Shelly Klink at klink@rowan.edu or call 856-256-4595 or on campus 64595.

Bring your ID or driver's license to your appointment.  Remember to eat a full meal and drink extra fluids (water, juice, tea) about 1- 1 1/2 hours prior to giving blood.  Do Rapid Pass at www.redcrossblood.org  This will save you 15-20 minutes at the blood drive.  Make sure to either print the results or send them to your phone.  this will be required at Registration along with your ID.  

Due to Social Distancing we are taking appointments only.  You MUST wear a MASK or FACE COVER.  

There is an urgent need for blood donations, especially during the winter months.  We never think who needs blood - but people in accidents, major disasters, people who have cancer or have surgeries may need blood!  

Remember every pint of blood saves 3 lives!*

All Students who donate blood will get 1 hour service credit.    Please donate blood and save a life!
