Fresh For All market OPEN & Requesting Volunteers

Rowan's Philabundance Fresh For All market REMAINS OPEN throughout the Winter Break

Fresh For All is a free fresh produce program. Rowan university hosts Philabundance every Friday morning and we give out free produce to all who attend. You don’t have to register. You don’t have to show ID. You don’t need a referral. And, you don’t need to demonstrate the need. You just need to come out with your own bag and receive free fresh produce.

For free, fresh produce, please consider stopping by the Football Stadium Parking Lot on Friday between 10am-11am.

Additionally, we staff the Fresh For All with volunteers. During the school year it is mostly student volunteers. However, during the Winter Break period and the reduction in students on-campus, we are hoping to enlist new volunteers. If you are a faculty/staff member or student interested in volunteering, please send an email to volunteer@rowan.edu in order to express your interest. The sign-ups are run individually for each Friday. So, volunteers can pick and choose which dates they can do.

We are seeking volunteer support for the dates of 1/8, 1/15, 1/22, and 1/29.

Fresh For All is hosted each and every Friday in Parking Lot D near Wacker Stadium (football stadium parking lot near the corners of Carpenter Street and Heston Road near Glassboro High School). We ask that volunteers arrive at 9:15 in order to assist with setup before the delivery truck arrives with the produce. Then, we help in unloading the truck and setting up the distribution tables. The clients will be served between 10am-11am, then we clean up and breakdown. All volunteers should be done by 11:30am. Full volunteer time commitment is 9:15am-11:30am.

As a critical service providing food to Rowan students and the surrounding community in need, the Fresh For All market aims to remain open. We have also taken every precaution available in order to ensure the healthy & safety of our clients and volunteers. In line with State mandates, all volunteers are now required to wear masks or face coverings.

We hope that you all are remaining safe and healthy. We appreciate every effort being made to support this critical community program. We hope to work with you if you are available and interested.

Please feel free to contact volunteer@rowan.edu with any questions or concerns.
