RA Application Process and Info Meetings for Fall, 2021
2021-2022 Resident Assistant (RA) Application Process
Residential Learning & University Housing Office is recruiting candidates for Resident Assistant positions for the 2021-2022 academic year. Resident Assistants (RAs) are peer leaders trained to help students adjust to the university environment and promote the development of a safe, supportive and inclusive residential community. We are looking for a diverse pool of undergraduate students to be part of our team. The RA position is a rewarding and challenging leadership position that will develop your interpersonal skills and connect you with lifetime friends and memorable experiences.
The application information will be active on the RLUH page on ProfLink beginning November 10, 2020 by 5:00 pm. The Application Deadline is Monday, January 18, 2021 by 5:00 pm.
To apply, candidates must complete the following:
Attend one (1) information session. All info sessions will be held on WebEx. Current RAs will serve on the panel with Graduate and Professional staff to review process and answer questions.
Visit the RLUH page on ProfLink to complete the RA application.
Attach a PDF version of your cover letter and resume to your RA application on ProfLink.
Attach a PDF version of a sample bulletin board or program flyer to your RA application in ProfLink. You will receive a specific prompt/information.
Any special housing accommodation requests need to be submitted to the Disability Resources Office in the Academic Success Center on or before January 18, 2021 to be taken into consideration.
Applications, cover letters, and resumes are not to be emailed or submitted to the RLUH office in Savitz.
All candidates should attend one (1) Informational Session via WebEx if possible. A recording of a session will be available on the RLUH website by mid-November for those who are interested but cannot attend. Updated Info Session Dates are:

Candidates selected for the Interview phase will receive an email to the applicant’s Rowan student email after the application deadline. Please note all Interviews will take place via WebEx on Thursday, January 28th & Friday, January 29th 2021.
